One of the strangest things about this society is that people don’t recognize sidewalks as utterly dystopian.

how much of the world has been removed my life by imprisoning me on the pavement, yknow?

Follow for more soft primitiv

what the heck are y’all saying against sidewalks?

a well-trod path through grass will get worn down to a dirt path.

dirt paths become quagmires of mud when it rains.

stone paths, cobblestones, pavement, were developed to increase sturdiness and durability of walking paths.

My point is that a world which demands that everyone take the same narrow path to the same few destinations is a sorry place to live. My problem is not with the pavement itself, so much as the territories it deliniates.

then don’t use sidewalks afldkdkskdkdjdjdjdjdjd

[[anti-civ voice]]: wow it’s so dystopian that we’re imprisoned on the sidewalk, and will be immediately shot on sight if we walk on unpaved ground

big throwback
