Gonna have myself a delicious chocolate croissant.
But I better heat it up first. Much yummier that way.
The question I’ve gotten the most on this trapdoor murder basement microwave post is “why???” and while there is a perfectly reasonable explanation, I’m tempted to let it remain a mystery.
However one thing that saddens me is the fact that no one has noticed you have to pretty much stand on top of an actual well to use the microwave.
(2/?)(if I sent that last one off anon can you please block my name?) Now, our cast is sixteen strong, minus the antagonists and minor characters. We get a whole subact dedicated to them, then Cascade happens, then we’re introduced to the alphas. Our character roster has grown exponentially, and the focus shifts from the betas. Every time we get a glimpse at them, it’s nearly always the meteor crew, and the few times we get to see the ship, it’s about John and Davesprite and their growth.
(3/?) Jade is being used as a tool for John’s growth now, and has faded into something of a background character. On the other end of the spectrum, there’s a character who’s arguably the most important, because, for some reason, her living is the deciding factor in winning. Vriska, the ceruleanblood, the thief of light, solves nearly every problem on the meteor, from Rose’s drinking, to Terezi’s mess of a love life.
(4/4) Make all the spotlight jokes you want, Vriska becomes the major troll. She, along with some stage setting from John, makes Collide work. She leads the final charge against English. She ends traumatic character development before it begins. And, weve seen something like this before, with Jade and Cascade. Jade god tiers at the right time, saves the planets, gets her and John off of the Battlefield and to the Alphas. But she was never applauded for that, just left to nap for the final fight.
OH THE COMPARISON BETWEEN JADE ROLE IN CASCADE AND VRISKA’S IN COLLIDE oh fuck that is so tasty delicious
The Story of El-Ahrairah and the Black Rabbit of Inlé
The stories within Watership Down are some of my favorites, especially the ones about El-Ahrairah. I had to edit a few things for brevity but tried to keep the main story and ideas intact!
This comic is EXCELLENT! I love the way the characters are made, and how the narration flows and laksjfnlskdgj everything else too >/ w <
Also, I’ve go a special place in my heard for El-Ahrairah stories. U u U My mom used to read them to me when I was so very little, way before i read the actual book on my own.
I think she censored some, though, this one’s pretty damn brutal for a six year old. <x’D
