what continuously amazes me about the mcelroys is that justin looks like a gay elf, and travis looks like a portland barista who takes regular business trips to narnia. they both look like weird, cool, funny guys. but then griffin looks like if you hit ‘random’ on a character generator for a game exclusively about tax accountants. he looks like he was born with a polo shirt on. he looks like both his first and last names are jeff. he looks like he organizes socks for fun, and then he opens his mouth and says something funny enough that you rupture all your internal organs laughing about it. it’s incredible.
i just want to say that the first time i saw griffin in the wwe monster factory video (i think), i was floored. i couldn’t believe my eyes. he was exactly like op says and i was not prepared for that at all and i was unable to process anything for days
a really good genre of tumblr post is the ones that claim “THIS 15-YEAR-OLD HAS DISCOVERED A CURE FOR CANCER” with no source link, and the first comment is “HIS NAME IS _______” and the second comment is “figures that so few results come up on google, no one is talking about this. spread the word!”
and then you google it and the only results are websites called like ‘youshare.buzz’ and ‘trendcatch.ly’ linking back to the original post, and the picture attached to the original post is from an unrelated huffpo article from 2011, and you google the name given and it’s a famous haitian accordionist

Welllllll. I put Gaud’s pfp through a site called Deep Dream Generator that uses AI to pull a style from one image and apply it to another. And I used a picasso portrait. And needless to say, things turned out… interestingly.
Oh wow. I tried doing it in MS Paint and it also turned out… interestingly. I thought the one I did was creepy, but your one is haunting.
This is beautiful. I love that you used both forms of the Gaud face for it. Also I really like that it looks kinda glitchy, fits with the blog.
I used deepdreamgenerator.com and applied the second image as a style for the first. I don’t know what I expected.
